Of all the different parts to draw, the hair takes the longest for the anime or hentai manga artist to master. For female hair the beginner must start with simple hair lines drawn across the face of your character starting about 1 ½ higher than the height of the eyes. Anime or hentai hair always consists of two parts: the front bangs that cover the face and the larger rear portion that flows down the back of the head. Starting at the hair line, the artist should draw curvy lines down the forehead which will eventually be the bangs. The back part of the hair will curve outward and down towards the shoulders. (more…)
