Prior to World War II, Japanese mangas depicted women as small in stature with small to medium sized breasts. With the influx of American G.I.’s with their pin-up pictures, comics and magazines, a new body type emerged as the accepted norm for Japanese comics: big breasted women. The bra size suddenly swelled from an ‘A’ size to a double and triple ‘D’ sized bra cup.
When drawing a hentai type breasts the artist is free to use their imagination as to the size and shape of the breast. Most adult hentai females have round shaped breasts with wide areolas and rather large erect nipples. There are some breast types where the nipple is almost an organ in itself. (more…)
