In the late 1940’s the Japanese culture was introduced to the American style of comic book art by the occupying G.I.’s. While most western narratives are heavily steeped in Christian morals and values, the Japanese stories tended to be immersed in mysticism and fatalism. The lighter comic tone mixed with dark fantasy of the early American animated features such as Walt Disney’s ‘Snow White’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty’ had a profound effect on later Japanese artists to follow. In Japanese hentai (a word that loosely translates as ‘sexually perverse’) mangas, the scenarios of the narratives must follow the particular theme of the story. There are several types of Japanese hentai and each has its own particular set of scenarios that fit into each category.
In lolicon the scenario of these stories usually revolve around a group of very young prepubescent girls that are experimenting sexually with each other or with adults. It is important to portray an air of innocence.
Futanari hentai involves hermorphdites or ‘dickgirls’ who are females that have both male and female sexual organs. A popular setting involves an all-girls school where either a teacher or a student is a futanari and is trying to keep her condition a secret from the other girls. Eventually she is discovered and usually blackmailed into having sex with every skirt in the school.
Taboo hentai stories involve sex between close family members either mothers and sons or brothers and sisters. Here the mother is usually left alone to raise her son and discovers that he is quite the developed young man (usually sporting a huge dick that is adult size). The sister and brothers are scenarios where they experiment with each other in their first sexual encounter.
